Alan Spindel

Born in Brooklyn, New York on April 17, 1971, Alan Spindel discovered music at age 6. He determined almost immediately, that he would work in the entertainment field. He started experimenting with techno and new wave, performing as a DJ he amassed a huge record and CD collection. He attended Long Island University (C.W. Post Campus), studying Business Management. After graduation, Spindel reunited with fellow classmates Michael J. Arbouet and L.J. Strong. Together with Arbouet created the hit public access television show "The Sound Society" The show discovered up and coming music artists Rachel Sage who has toured with Ani DiFranco and Freedom Bremner who went on to win Star Search in 2003. Spindel found work with BMI, Initiative Media and Paradise Music and Entertainment Inc. Meanwhile he maintained an interest in television and film as he continued his relationship with former roommate Michael J. Arbouet. Helping the filmmaker with his in-depth knowledge of entertainment and business, the future producer was ready to bring great stories to the silver screen. Alan starred and produced on the big screen in many independent films. He recently produced Serial, which was an official selection in the Long Island International Film Festival and the Mockumentary Film Festival.
